Silverfish

Silverfish, also known as night movers, are completely wingless. They have long antennae and move in a wiggly motion that resembles the movement of fish. That movement coupled with the appearance and silvery scales, inspires their common name. They typically live for two to eight years. They can cause moderate damage to homes due to where they feed. Their favorite food is the glue in the binding of your books. If you have yellow stains on the books you may have silverfish infestation. They are hard to kill due to possessing an amazing tolerance. They are not harmful to humans or pets but are just a nuisance.
